Hebraic Worship Seminar

Hebraic Worship Seminar

This seminar explores the meaning and practice of worship found in the life and devotion of the Jewish people as revealed in the pages of scripture. Our goal is to gain deeper insight and understanding into the true nature of worship, how it applies to all aspects of our lives (both individually and corporately), and to draw closer to God as true worshippers, "for the Father is seeking such to worship Him" (John 4:24).

Sub-topics include:

  • A scriptural definition of worship according to the Hebrew text

  • The scriptural basis and motivation for true worship

  • The relationship between worship and devotion

  • Worship as an act of the will

  • Worship as relationship

  • Worship as community

  • Worship and trials

  • Worship as service and sacrifice

  • A study of the the various "colors" or nuances of worship that may be derived from the various relevant Hebrew texts and vocabulary

The seminar seeks to cover the above topics in-depth, including question-answer and breakout sessions. The worship seminar may also include time set aside for live Messianic worship.
